Rory (drummer/composer) is an innovative, genre-blurring artist who leads a band of singular musical weapons, each member bringing their own fire to the mix. Inspired by Nate Smith, Herbie Hancock, D’Angelo, Tony Williams, and Yussef Dayes, their performances deliver nu jazz/fusion layered with soul and hip-hop influences. Supporting the night: Laneous – Melbourne-based neo-soul, jazz, funk, and R&B innovator, praised by Nai Palm (Hiatus Kaiyote) as “a genius.” Laneous will be joined by a special guest.
