Free Jazz saxophone dynamo **Tim O’Dwyer** (bucketrider, MIUC) returns for a brief visit from his home in Singapore assembling an all star line-up including **Dave Brown** (Gtr), **Maria Moles** (Drms)** Mick Meagher **(Bs) **Reuben Lewis** (Trp) and **Mat Watson** (Electronics) to perform **LOVE CRY\_Ecstatic Ballads for Broken Hearts.**  **LOVE CRY **is an ongoing performance project that reimagines sentimental Asian ballads—particularly Thai Luk Thung (Thai Country Music)—through the ecstatic, explosive vocabulary of free jazz, inspired by the work of Albert Ayler. After successful tours in Aotearoa and Singapore earlier this year,  LOVE CRY comes to Melbourne for the very first time supported by the fiery duo of** Mia Alexander & Levi Liaiuw** and local legends **Drivetime**, featuring **David Chesworth** and **Bill McDonald.**
