After selling out their debut show Freshen Up returns January 2026 to fix you up another great night of new original music. Despite the rave reviews stating we couldn’t get any bigger or better we thought we’d prove you wrong and give you 4 of Melbourne’s best emerging artists for one glorious summer night intertwining Folk, R&B and Funk.  Headlining your night is Harvey Town, the Melbourne singer-songwriter, frontman keys player you didn’t know you needed. Fusing Jazz Pop and Funk Rock on stage in all the right ways. Harvey reminds the people that MUSIC. IS. PLAY. with his incredible live band lifting up his passionate vocals and groovy keys, your ears are all he aims to please. Despite releasing 5 new singles already this previous year, Town cannot wait to smack you with a plethora of new tunes, take a bow and leave your mouth ajar like “w o w”. This year’s new addition to Freshen Up, Lunic is a Naarm/Melbourne-based folk artist known for her ethereal vocals and dreamy soundscapes that wrap listeners in a warm hug of nostalgia. She draws inspiration from vulnerability, uncovering stories of love, insecurities, and self-growth. Her debut EP Quiet Confessions is a sacred reflection of her love for nature and human connection, characterised by gentle production, rich harmonies, and lyrics that speak straight to the soul.  Returning to Freshen Up, Jimmy Love brings new music to channel your rage in her tongue in cheek, thinly veiled musical threats. She might be messy, but that won’t stop her slinging her pop princess attitude as a weapon, with her witty lyrics and dreamy Pop R&B styles.
